2022 7th International Workshop on Pattern Recognition will be held during June 10-12, 2022 in Xiamen, China, sponsored by Huaqiao University, hosted by College of Computer Science and Technology, etc. As you have been aware, COVID-19 is still out of control, and the safety and well-being of our participants is of paramount importance to us. Therefore, after serious consideration, the committee has made the difficult decision to have these conferences as an fully virtual mode.

6月25日上午9时，会议正式开始。华侨大学计算机科学与技术学院院长缑锦教授致开幕词，希望与会者能够充分交流，并预祝线上会议取得圆满成功。会议邀请到香港中文大学(深圳)David Zhang教授(加拿大皇家科学院院士、加拿大工程院院士, IEEE计算机学会杰出演讲人, 以及IEEE Life Fellow, IAPR Fellow); 南方科技大学的张宏教授（加拿大工程院院士，IEEE Fellow, 广东省“珠江人才计划”领军人才)；惠灵顿维多利亚大学的Mengjie Zhang教授（IEEE Fellow）以及新加坡南洋理工大学蒋旭东教授（IEEE Fellow）做主旨报告, 受到与会者广泛关注和讨论。之后，会议组织了5个分组的报告，分别从计算机视觉与成像应用、先进的人工智能技术和应用程序以及未来通信与信息网络等主题进行了论文讨论，分组讨论由来自华侨大学、安徽大学、宁波诺丁汉大学等的学者主持。截止6月26日12时许，会议议程全部完成，会议顺利闭幕。
