IWPR 2020

2020 5th International Workshop on Pattern Recognition (IWPR 2020) was planned to be held during June 3-5, 2020. As you have been aware, COVID-19 has evolved into a pandemic in 2020, and the safety and well-being of our participants is of paramount importance to us. Therefore, after serious consideration, the committee has made the difficult decision to have IWPR 2020 as fully virtual conferences. Considering all speakers' schedules, the virtual conference was held during June 19-21, 2020.

IWPR 2020 conference proceedings have been archived in SPIE Digital Library about 1 month after the conference, and indexed by Ei Compendex and Scopus about 2 months after the conference.

The organizing committee has invited Prof. Yiu-ming Cheung (IEEE Fellow) from Hong Kong Baptist University, Hong Kong, Prof. Dr. Wenbing Zhao from Cleveland State University, USA, Prof. Tieling Chen from University of South Carolina Aiken, USA to deliver keynote and Plenary speeches. They have given topics with "How to Perform Clustering in the Data Imbalance Environment?", "Data Science in Professional Baseball: A Preliminary Study Era", "Color Vividness Enhancement through Achromatic and Saturation Components" seperately.
